About Us

Mounted Eagles enhances the lives of program participants and the community by providing a safe and enjoyable environment where individuals with special needs benefit from therapeutic, developmental and educational equine assisted activities. We offer services to individuals who face physical, mental, social and/or emotional challenges. We are a 501(c)3 Non-Profit Organization, a PATH Premier Accredited Center and have two PATH Certified Instructors and one PATH Instructor in Training.. We provide services to residents of Aitkin, Cass, Crow Wing, Mille Lacs, Morrison and Todd counties. We offer volunteer opportunities to individuals 14 years and older who enjoy working with horses and challenged individuals. Volunteers are trained in how to assist the instructors in providing the Mounted Eagles services so no prior experience is necessary. We accept monetary and in-kind donations which are tax deductible items for the donor. We offer client services and/or volunteer opportunities to qualified persons regardless of age, sex, race, colour, ethnic or religious background, descent or nationality, sexual preference or financial status. All participants must meet the criteria stated in our program guidelines for eligibility in order to participate in the program as a client or a volunteer.
