Almost 15 years ago we committed to re-building one of the most beautiful small resorts on our favorite Whitefish Chain of Lakes. Now we are committed to providing our guests with the charm that Hideaway has become, and the peace and quiet that Northwoods Minnesota has to offer.

As life-long natives of this beautiful Lake Country, we fully appreciate the blessings of this peaceful place on the planet. Now we enjoy sharing this property with guests who delight in the fresh air, good fishing, comfy cabins, and fireside chats on the beach. We invite you to take a breather and come up to Minnesota's legacy vacation area. We'll make you comfortable, and see to it that you leave here refreshed and recharged.Each of our cabins have been recently built from the ground up. Dressed in Northwoods knotty pine, each cabin offers a ''great room'' (kitchen, dining, and living area.) A cozy gas fireplace, beautiful view of the lake, two separate bedrooms with queen size in the master, and bath with shower, set your home away from home. A full stove/oven, microwave, full-sized refrigerator, and dishwasher make the kitchen easy and fun. A color/cable TV, barbeque grill, and attached deck top it all off. Each cabin sleeps six comfortably. Upper Hay Lake is the headwaters of the Whitefish Chain of Lakes, not accessible to the chain, therefore making it very private. It is a 650 acre lake which is a breeding lake for walleyes, bass, northerns, sunnies and crappies. Many other activities include boating, kayaking, sailing and swimming.
